Complete Northern Pakistan – 23 Days
22 DaysPakistan’s entire northern region is enigmatic, seductive, and thrilling; it usually makes news for all the wrong reasons. But for the adventurous traveler, this vibrant and contrasted area offers an unparalleled wealth of culture, tradition, and unspoiled natural beauty. This incredible voyage transports you from the streets of Islamabad into the Hindu Kush, Karakoram, and Himalayan valleys, passing through secluded mountain villages, breathtaking scenery, lively towns, and bustling bazaars.
Overview – Complete Northern Pakistan
This is the most comprehensive tour we offer in Northern Pakistan, so everything will be seen! From the capital, you will proceed to the refuge on Ayun via the Swat Valley and then on to the reservation of the Kalash tribe. You will cross over to the northeast of the country and proceed to Mastuj, then up over the Shandur Pass and over to Gilgit before heading north to the magnificent Hunza for a few days. After that, you’ll take the Karakoram Highway back to Gilgit and proceed east to Shigar, Khaplu (where you’ll stay in a hotel that WF recommends), and Skardu. The last part of the trip takes you up to the Deosai Plateau, where you can enjoy even more stunning views of the mountains. From there, you descend through Naran to return you to Islamabad.
For good reason, we hold a particular place in our hearts for Pakistan. We have been organizing trips here for over 20 years, so we are aware of the political challenges involved in visiting this intriguing nation. With the best guides, accommodations, and transportation available, we are certain to be able to provide the most imaginative and genuine trips to the region by leveraging this unparalleled depth of knowledge.
