The trek concludes with a return to Hushe and Skardu before departing from Islamabad on Day 12.
Overview - Laila Peak Base Camp Trek ( Hushe)
The Laila Peak Base Camp Trek commences in Islamabad, where participants are welcomed and escorted to their hotel. The following day involves a scenic flight to Skardu, providing breathtaking views of the Himalayas and Karakoram. In Skardu, acclimatization hikes and visits to local markets offer an introduction to the region’s cultural and natural richness.
The journey continues with a rugged jeep ride to Hushe Village on Day 4, passing through Khaplu and experiencing the dramatic landscapes of the Gangche Valley. Trekking begins from Hushe towards Saicho, followed by Dalsangpa, offering encounters with pastoral landscapes and stunning views of peaks like Namika.
The trek reaches its pinnacle on Day 7 as adventurers navigate the Gondogoro Glacier towards Khuspang/Laila Peak Base Camp. A rest day at Khuspang allows for photography and recuperation amidst the majestic surroundings.
The return journey retraces the steps back to Skardu and eventually Islamabad, concluding an unforgettable expedition through some of Pakistan’s most spectacular mountain scenery.
